Traditionally, the greatest efforts on investment and the creation of generation capacity in renewable energies had always been carried out by the developed countries, but from the past year 2015, this trend has changed. For the first time from 2015, countries outside the OECD become the most active and involved in the use of renewable energies, ahead of developed countries that had taken the initiative in this topic.
