The Newton-Raphson Method (NR) is considered as the algorithm for the resolution of the flow of charges most advanced and widely accepted in industrial applications. Presents many advantages, such as: a robust convergence, it is more accurate and reliable, and less sensitive to the factors which cause a poor convergence.
