There is an almost total consensus among scientists about the reality of climate change as a consequence of the emission of greenhouse gases. Although there are opinions that this change is already taking place, expectations are of major impacts at an accelerated pace in this century. Given the uncertainty about the many factors that influence it, the effects could be more negative than those currently expected for the future.
