In the painting process of automobile bodies, the first stage of anticorrosion is obtained generating a chemical layer of protection of the plate surface.
The first used technologies obtained a layer of protection on the basis of metallic phosphates. The best technologies available nowadays, generate a nanometric layer of conversion on the basis of hydroxides of zirconium, by means of a nanotechnology process. When it was realised this change of technology, in center of production of automobiles of Vigo of PSA Group: An increase of microbiological contamination of the TTS process has been stated, when being reduced the toxicity of the chemical agents that compose the treatment.
This work described the results obtained in the diminution of microbiological contamination of the bath of Rinsing 3 that respects the reference values of the PSA Group, after the installation of a physical biocide in the recirculation of the pretreatment bath.
