Se presenta una metodología para el ensayo a fatiga resonante de una estructura de coche ferroviario. La determinación de las solicitaciones de ensayo y su duración se basa en la aplicación de la ecuación de Paris y de tecnicas rainflow de recuento de ciclos. El rango desolicitaciones umbral de propagación de grieta resulta depende su tamaño inicial. Se incluye también una descripción de la instrumentación utilizada, de las condiciones de ensayo y de los resultados obtenidos en el mismo.

This paper presents a method for fatigue testing of body structures of railway coaches. París equation and rainflow counting techniques have been applied in order to determine both, test load range and number of cycles. The load threshold for crack growing results dependent on the assumed initial crack size. A discussíon about the testlimitationsisincluded, beingusually the test more severe than the real operation. Testconditions, instrumentation, and results are also described below.
