¿ ES POSIBLE SACAR LUZ DE LA NADA?
El vacío puede parecer vacío, pero los científicos han descubierto una nueva forma de obtener algo aparentemente de la nada, como la luz. El hallazgo podría ayudar a los científicos a construir ordenadores cuánticos increíblemente poderosos o arrojar luz sobre los primeros momentos de la historia del universo.

LOS INGENIEROS RESUELVEN UN MISTERIO BIOLOGICO DANDO UN NUEVO IMPULSO A LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL
Desde los cerebros humanos hasta las redes de regulación génica, existen multitud de entidades biológicas organizadas en módulos - densos racimos de partes interconectadas dentro de una red compleja. Hace décadas que los biólogos han querido saber por qué los seres humanos, bacterias y otros organismos evolucionaron en forma modular. A semejanza de los ingenieros, la naturaleza construye cosas de forma modular combinando distintas partes, pero no se explica cómo tal modularidad evoluciona. Los reconocidos biólogos Richard Dawkins, Günter P. Wagner y posterioemente Stephen Jay Gould identifican la cuestión de la modularidad como fundamental en el debate sobre “la evolución de la complejidad”.
