There is growing interest in assessing the risks from exposure to soil, air and water pollutants. This paper presents a study of spatial patterns and associations between As, Pb and Sb. The peninsular territory of Spain, with complex geology, has been analyzed with two large units: the western half (Hercynian domain) and the eastern one (Alpine-Watershed Domain Tertiary). The starting point is the Geochemical Atlas of Spain, co-financed by the European Economic Area (63 elements analyzed in 40,000 soil samples and current sediments). The groundwater quality data comes from the Ministry of the Environment.
