ABSTRACT:Air navigation systems implemented to the date, both in military and civilian, are based on the TACAN system, or some variant. From its early versions, it has been development and improved further. However, despite its ease of use, it has been, and continues to be, an extremely difficult system to understand, both in performance and in its maintenance. In order to alleviate these drawbacks, this paper describes an expert model for verification TACAN system. With this new method, the main objective is to achieve significant improvements in fault detection, reduce maintenance time and try to minimize errors. The model has been tested in a practical way.
