La actual situación empresarial que estamos viviendo, a pesar de ser realmente delicada ya que está siendo crítica para unos e incluso mortal para no pocos, resulta afortunado poderla vivir porque, a pesar de las continuas manifestaciones que señalan al entorno como responsable de dicha crisis, donde realmente estriba la causa ( como veremos a lo largo del presente artículo) es en el modo que se tiene de entender la Gestión, lo que implica que sea necesario y urgente dar un cambio radical al enfoque actual . Tener la posibilidad de participar en ello es verdaderamente algo privilegiado. El Ingeniero ha sido, desde siempre, pieza clave en el desarrollo de la Empresa , definiendo tanto el "lugar" al que había que ir, como el "camino" a seguir, por lo que todos los escalafones donde se tomaban las más importantes decisiones han estado ocupados por estos profesionales que han sabido superar con éxito situaciones verdaderamente complicadas, lo que ha hecho que Ingeniero haya sido sinónimo de alto prestigio.
