In this work a study of the behavior of mortars made with cement and sand is presented. This behavior is tested in the laboratory through experimentation with different dosages. A Fuzzy Rule-Based System is designed with the obtained experimental data for helping the dosage of future mortars. Due to the lack of regulations about the mortars’ dosage, the main goal of this work is to provide construction professionals with a tool for helping the mortars’ preparation. The designed fuzzy system allows the user to know in advance the final characteristic of the mortars. The calculation fuzzy system is validated by comparing its calculate response with real values obtained through new experiments developed in the laboratory. Keywords: Mechanical Resistance, Adherence, Cement Mortar, Fuzzy Logic, Mortar Dosage.
