La dificultad de valorar los resultados realmente logrados en la enseñanza, introduce la posibilidad de no diferenciarlos de la forma de obtenerlos, olvidando que alumnos diferentes pueden dar respuestas dispares a unos mismos estímulos. La enseñanza realmente impartida está más influida por el procedimiento utilizado en la verificación de sus resultados, que por la finalidad perseguida , para evitarlo se necesitaría la posibilidad de prescindir de un, método y tener libertad para adaptarse a las características de los alumnos y de los profesores. La enseñanza real, función siempre de la calidad y personalidad del profesor, le está totalmente supeditada cuando persigne desarrollar una capacidad creadora, proporcionar estímulos para la irmovación, etc., objetivos que muy di fícilmente puede cubrir una sistemática de aplicación universal, pues de por si no admite tratamiento de rutina.
