RESUMEN
El impacto social de la tecnología cobra una nueva dimensión tras la revolución industrial al añadirse a los cambios generados por ésta otros procedentes de la incorporación de las Tecnologías de la Información. Ante cambios en los paradigmas, que todas las revoluciones científicas provocan, la Tecnología Social quiere destacar un empleo intencionado y focalizado del saber hacia la calidad de vida de todos. Una orientación de
la Ciencia a la resolución de problemas sociales superando al significado actual de la Ciencia al servicio de la economía.

ABSTRACT
