Con la irrupción del correo electrónico, de la WEB y de las múltiples aplicaciones de estas innovaciones, las facilidades para realizar comunicaciones
didácticas significativas por medios interactivos han aumentado considerablemente. A través del empleo de estas técnicas, particularmente si se usan en forma combinada para maximizar sus efectos, es posible aumentar tanto la cobertura física, como la cantidad y calidad de información que podría ser transmitida. Al mismo tiempo, por sus posibilidades de facilitar la interactividad, es factible realizar comunicaciones educativas de doble vía, tanto en tiempo real como en diferido, que permiten aumentar la riqueza de las interacciones de forma considerable.
