El jueves 21 de febrero, comenzaron los actos organizados en Madrid para conmemorar el Centenario de la fundación de la carrera de Ingeniero Industrial, terminándose con ellos todos los festejos organizados y que habían comenzado con los actos que en noviembre se celebraron en Barcelona y Bilbao. A las once de la mañana de este día se celebró una solemne función religiosa en San Francisco el Grande, en la que ofició el Obispo de Madrid-Alcalá, doctor Eijo Garay.
