ABSTRACTNowadays, industrial Control Systems are based on keypads and wired joysticks that usually are unfriendly and not intuitive, generally demanding practical experience. In this paper a new and more natural and intuitive interface is presented, keeping the present robustness and efficiencyof traditional controls. The proposed interface is designed to control an overhead crane by using voice commands and gestural commands, since this language is more natural and intuitive for the users Key words: Multimodal, gestures, stereo vision, voice commands.
