RESUMEN
La RSC es una nueva forma de entender la empresa; una empresa centrada en valores para generar valor y que reconcilia el objetivo económico
con los aspectos sociales y medioambientales. La RSC no es sólo cumplir con las obligaciones legales que la empresa tiene, e incluso ir más allá en
su cumplimiento, sino también invertir en recursos humanos y en el entorno medioambiental, desarrollando relaciones con los interlocutores sociales.
Todo ello, desde luego, con carácter voluntario.
El Libro Verde de la Unión Europea sobre RSC evalúa en su párrafo 25 los beneficios que supone la RSC para la empresa y, entre ellos, destaca
que la mitad del rendimiento bursátil superior a la media es consecuencia de la política de RSC de la empresa. La RSC es el nuevo paradigma de
la gestión social basado en pilares sólidos e inmutables de la empresa, como es la gestión de sus recursos humanos y el respeto por el medio
ambiente. Este mensaje ha empezado a calar profundamente en la Sociedad.

ABSTRACT
The RSC is a new form to understand the Company; a Company centered in values to generate value and that reconciles the economic objective with
the social and environmental aspects. The RSC is not only to fulfill the legal obligations that the Company has, and to even go further on in their fulfillment, but also to invest in human resources and the environmental surroundings, developing relations with the social interlocutors. All it, of
course, with voluntary character. Green Book of the European Union on RSC evaluates in its paragraph the 25 benefits that the RSC for the company supposes and, among them, emphasizes that half of the stock-exchange yield superior to the average is consequence of the RSC policy of the company. The RSC is the new paradigm of the social management based on solid and immutable pillars of the company, as it is the management of his
human resources and the respect by the environment. This message has begun to pierce deeply in the Society.
