• The Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) offers improvements in processing time and quality of sintering. This paper models the process using a ? nite element method software, cheking the temperature distribution and the electric potencial. In this work we try to simulate the process using a software for finite element simulation and checking the temperature distributions and potential. The first simulations were performed in the SPS equipment without sample, which allows to evaluate the results knowing the basic behavior of the equipment, and then we have simulated the SPS equipment with a graphite disk that we know their properties and behaviors. The model created introduces the Joule effect in the sintering through the thermoelectric interaction of the system, discuss the effect generated by the introduction of electrical potential. It has been studied from the potential value added to the control (PID) comparing the results with experiments at Ceramics and Glass Institute (ICV). Finally it was found that the temperature measurement by the pyrometer that monitored the equipment can be up to 150 `C above the actual temperature in the sintered sample.
