Research is focused on Cortijo del Fraile farmhouse, a Bien de Interés Cultural of great architectonic, historic and social values, located in Níjar (Almería, España), geographic location of high seismic risk. Analysis is an approach to gravitational loads it bear, if they would produce stability failure and, if so, its location. Furthermore, it studies structure behaviour during an earthquake. Its complexity makes neccessary working with a digital model which and applying Finite Elements Method.Importance of this study is the neccessity of recovering our built heritage and interest in performing fully guaranteed intervetions. That is why use of new technologies that insure a accurate assessment, as its structural validation, are required. Results determine the most sensitive areas to suffer mechanical failure, what assure digital tools use allows to know structural behaviour attending to stability and areas were intervention is more urgent
