ABSTRACTAgroindustry is the most powerful economic sector in Spain. This competitive advantage must be strengthened and consolidated on the international markets. A complete knowledge of the sector evolution is essential to know. This article specifically examines the whole environment that rule the fate of the egg products commercialization. This branch of the traditional freshly-laid egg sector shows an average growth, both in Spain and all over the world. Nevertheless, the market dynamism requires efforts to develop suitable competitive strategies. Key words: ovoproducts, sector, egg, strategy, competitive advantage.
