In the present work a dynamic model of the production flow of a stamping line is developed. The model allows analyzing the continuous behavior of production flows in the face of the effect of delays in the production process. The main results show that the delay times such as: unplanned equipment shutdown, lack of blade stop and / or blade change, tooling changeover stoppages and process-related activities are determining factors (in different degree of affectation) For the fulfillment of the delivery times of the finished product. The main contribution of the present work is the proposal of a scenario of decision-making scenarios in the planning process, in which the percentage of compliance of the production plan and its impact on the operational costs of the process can be evaluated.
