In this paper a model for Technology Assessment of cellulose moulding processes is designed and implemented from previous studies of Technology Assessment, reported internationally and in the country. The aim of the research was to design a model for Techology Assessment to contribute to a cellulose moulding plant project feasibility studies for fegg trays, from recycled paper, in a section of Jatibonico Paper Mill, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba.
TIBCO Business Studio and Fuzzy Tree Studio softwares are used for technology assessment, the latter define an overall indicator, based on the use of compensatory fuzzy logic.
The implementation of the model made possible the verification of the magnitude of design and operation variables, defined in the technologies project documents; identifying the potential deficiencies of technologies and to issue technical and economic criteria to reduce risks in the process of technology adoption.
