At present, there are three different models in the exercise of the profession of industrial engineer and its competences at an international level. On the one hand, there is the model of professional license that is given in countries like the USA, Canada and Japan, countries in which to practice the profession of engineer is necessary to pass a test with a series of additional complements to their studies. The engineer can exercise his profession in function of said license that must be renewed periodically.
